I can’t see a section of the menu

Why a section or option may be missing from the side menu and how to check your plan, extensions, role and multi-employee mode.
What it is for
You are looking for a section of the side menu (HACCP, Purchasing, Sales, Menus…) or an option inside it (Recipe costing, Users, HACCP plan) and it isn’t there. It isn’t a fault: Recipok shows each person only what their plan, their extensions and their role allow. Check these causes in order.
Symptom
A whole section of the side menu is missing, or one of its options, which a colleague can see or which appears in a tutorial.
Causes and solution
Your plan doesn’t include it
Stock management and Sales need the Integral plan; Purchasing, Essential and above (within it, Goods received and Scan document are Integral); Menus, the menus module; Shopping list and Order recommendation, Integral; Recipe costing and Fixed and operating costs depend on the plan. Check your plan on the Your plan card and, if necessary, change it in Subscription.
The module isn’t enabled
HACCP plan, Menus, Menu calendar, Subproducts and Customer portal are optional: they appear when the owner enables them in Extensions. HACCP records are not: they are there from day one if your plan includes them.
Your role doesn’t let you see it
The Manager and the Advisor see everything except what is reserved for the administrator: Recipe costing, Fixed and operating costs, Users and Weighing deviations. The Seller only sees Sales, without Shops or Customers. The Employee (production) sees Production orders (only Assigned to me) and HACCP. The Food safety officer, only HACCP. The Custom role, whatever its permissions allow. See Users and roles.
You are in multi-employee mode
On a shared device all the management sections are hidden. Leave with user menu › Disable multi-employee mode and log in again with your own user.

If you open a screen your plan doesn’t cover, Recipok shows you “This section is not active” instead of an error. It is the same cause: plan or extension.
