Extensions: enable and subscribe to modules
All plans
Which modules are enabled or bought in Extensions, who can do it and how to disable or cancel them without losing data.
What it is for
Extensions is the panel where you switch on Recipok’s optional modules and subscribe to the ones that are charged separately. Many features don’t appear in the menu until you enable them: that way each bakery only sees what it uses.
It is used by the account owner, usually at the start (the first week) and whenever the business needs something new: publishing a menu, making use of by-products or letting customers place orders themselves.
Before you start
- The Extensions button is at the bottom of the side menu and administrators can see it.
- Only the owner (whoever created the account) can enable, subscribe to, disable or cancel. Other administrators can view everything.
- To subscribe to a paid module you need a saved card or the payment gateway to hand.
The panel
Each module is a card with its description, its status and a button.
Write your food safety plan from your recipes.
Allergen-aware menus, daily menus and publishable calendars with QR.
Plan menus by week and month and publish them for your diners.
The yolks left over from meringue, the cuts from butchering.
Requires the Integral plan.
Balance your ice cream and cold pastry formulas.
- 1Enable for free: the module appears straight away in the menu, which highlights it for a few seconds.
- 2Optional upgrade: some cards include a paid upgrade, which can only be bought once the module is active.
- 3Contract: opens a window with the billing cycle and what you pay today.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | The module is switched on and its section appears in the menu. |
| Not enabled | Your plan includes it, but you haven’t switched it on yet. |
| Deactivated | You switched it off. The data is still there. |
| Not available | Your plan doesn’t include it. |
| Installing… / Error | The module is being set up or something has gone wrong. If the error doesn’t go away, write to us in the chat. |
Which modules there are
Free, switched on when you need them
- HACCP plan: the food safety plan written from your recipes, with one product card free. The Unlimited cards + AI upgrade is annual. See HACCP plan.
- Menus and Menu calendar: menus with allergens, set menus and monthly calendars. See Menus.
- Subproducts: what a preparation leaves behind (the yolks from meringue) or what comes from butchering. See By-products.
- Customer portal (beta, Integral plan): your trade customers place their orders with you from their own login. See Customer portal.
Paid
- Cold Formulation (beta, annual): balancing of ice cream and cold pastry formulas. See Cold formulation.
- Label designer: it isn’t bought from the panel; the Recipok team enables it if you ask. See Label designer.
- If you already have invoicing, accounting or POS software, we connect it to Recipok.
Ingredients, recipes, recipe costing, technical sheets, labels, HACCP records, purchasing, stock, production and sales depend only on your plan: if your plan includes them, they are already in the menu.
Enabling, subscribing or cancelling
Enable a free module
Click Enable for free. The page reloads and the menu highlights the new section.
Subscribe to a paid module
Click Contract, choose the Billing cycle (monthly or annual, depending on the module) and check You pay today. With a saved card, click Confirm purchase. If the module has a set-up fee, an adviser will contact you within 24-48 working hours to get it up and running.
Disable or cancel
A free module is switched off with Disable. A paid one is cancelled with Cancel: you keep using it until the end of the period you have paid for and then it is hidden. If you change your mind, click Undo cancellation.
If a section of the menu is missing, look here first. We explain it in I can’t see a section of the menu.
