I can’t log in to my account

What to do if Recipok won’t let you log in: forgotten password, unconfirmed or deactivated account, security code or outstanding payment.
What it is for
You type your email and password and Recipok won’t let you in, or you get in but it asks for a code you don’t have. Each message on the login screen points to a different cause. Find yours here.
Symptom and cause
| What you see | What is happening |
|---|---|
| “The email or password is incorrect.” | There is a mistake in the email or the password, or the password has changed. |
| “Your account is deactivated. Check your email or contact support.” | The account hasn’t been confirmed from the welcome email or has been deactivated. |
| “Your account has been blocked. Contact support.” | Access is blocked: only support can review it. |
| “Too many failed login attempts…” | You have tried too many times. Wait a few minutes. |
| A screen asking for a code | Your business has two-step verification turned on and you are logging in from a new connection. |
| You get in, but on the free plan or without your features | The last charge for your subscription didn’t go through. |
2Continue with Google
- 1Forgot your password?: sends you a link to create a new one.
- 2If you signed up with Google, log in with Continue with Google.
Solution
Recover your password
Click Forgot your password?, type your email and click Send. You will receive a link to create a new one (check your spam folder too). If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google.
Rule out the browser
Try in a private (incognito) window or in another browser (Chrome or Edge). If that lets you in, clear the site’s browsing data in your usual browser.
Confirm your account
If the account is deactivated, look for the confirmation email we sent you when you signed up and open its link. If you are an invited employee, first accept the invitation you received by email.
Enter the security code
If it asks you for a code, it has been sent to the email of the account owner. Ask them for it. See Two-step verification.
Check the payment
If the charge failed (insufficient funds, bank verification not completed), in Subscription you will see Pending payment with the Pay button. Once it is paid, you get your plan back.
Write to us in the website chat telling us the email you log in with and the exact message you see. We will never ask you for your password.
