What is Recipok: modules, plans and security
All plans
The map of Recipok: what each section does, what each plan includes, which devices it works on and how your data is protected and exported.
What it is for
Recipok is management software for businesses that make food: pastry and bread bakeries, central kitchens, catering and small food manufacturers. Everything starts from the recipe: you write it once and Recipok works out its real cost, adds up its allergens, prepares the label and the technical sheet, and keeps a record of every lot from the moment the raw material comes in until the product goes out of the door.
The business owner uses it to know their margins, the bakery team to produce with production orders and lots, and whoever looks after quality to keep the HACCP records up to date and be ready for an inspection. This article gives you the full map: what each module does, what each plan includes and how your data is protected.
The map of Recipok
The side menu groups the sections. Some only appear if your plan includes them or if your role lets you see them.
| Menu section | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Ingredients | Your catalogue of raw materials and packaging with price, waste, allergens, traces, nutrition information and suppliers. More in The ingredient sheet. |
| Recipes | Recipes and formulas, sub-recipes, recipe costing, selling price, technical sheets and labels. See Create a recipe. |
| Purchasing | Purchase orders to suppliers, goods-in with lot and expiry date, and automatic reading of delivery notes and invoices. |
| Stock management | Stock by lot and warehouse, movements, inventory reconciliation and traceability. |
| Production orders | What has to be made, who makes it, which lots are used and which lot comes out, with a workshop board and scales. |
| Sales | Customers, price lists, sales orders, order calendar, dispatches (delivery notes) and returns. |
| HACCP | Daily records (temperatures, cleaning, pests, water…), locations with their limits, traceability drill and the HACCP plan. |
| Menus | Menus with allergens, set menus and monthly calendars, as PDF and with a QR code. |
| General settings | Fixed and operating costs (for recipe costing) and the team’s users. |
At the top right, the user menu leads to Configuration, Integrations and Subscription. At the bottom of the side menu you will find Extensions, What's new and the Your plan card.

The plans
There are four plans, from smallest to largest: Free, Essential, Advanced and Integral. Each one includes everything in the one before. The details of each plan are in Subscription › Plans and Pricing.
| Plan | Designed for |
|---|---|
| Free | Getting started: a limited number of recipes with their costing, technical sheet and label. Free for ever, with one user. |
| Essential | Knowing the full cost: more recipes, fixed and staff costs in the recipe costing, purchase orders to suppliers and unlimited HACCP records. |
| Advanced | Labelling and documenting: unlimited recipes, automatic nutrition information, labels and barcodes with lot and expiry date, custom technical sheets and menu calendar. |
| Integral | Running the whole bakery: stock by lot, goods-in, production orders with control by employee, sales orders, dispatches and full forward and backward traceability. |
Every plan includes one user; on paid plans you can add more. We explain it in Users and roles and in Your subscription.
Devices, browsers and languages
- Nothing to install: it works in the browser of a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux), a tablet or a phone.
- Recommended browser: Chrome or Edge. They are the only ones that let you connect the bakery scales.
- Seven languages: Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Each person chooses their own in Edit profile.
- Units: metric system, UK imperial or US customary, as you choose in Configuration.
Security and ownership of your data
- Your data is yours. The account is private by default: only what you publish is shared (a link to a technical sheet, a menu with a QR code, the portal for your customers).
- Each person logs in with their own user and their role decides what they see. That way there is a record of who created each production order or carried out each check.
- Two-factor authentication: the owner can require an emailed code when someone logs in from a new place. See Two-step verification.
- If you connect with support, the technician sees your data only during that session, to help you.
Exporting your information
You can take your work with you whenever you want:
- Ingredients: Export ingredients in the actions menu of My ingredients.
- Recipes: Export in Recipes and formulas, to Excel, with the columns you choose.
- Documents: technical sheets, labels, cost reports, delivery notes and HACCP records are downloaded as PDF.
If you already use invoicing, accounting or POS software, you don’t have to change it: we connect Recipok to it. Ask us in the chat.
