What’s new, suggestions and your progress

All plans

Where to see Recipok improvements, how to send a suggestion, how to turn off the what’s new pop-ups and how the levels and the guided tour work.

What it is for

Recipok improves every week. In What's new you see everything that has been published, with its date, and from there you can tell us what you are missing. In addition, the application guides you while you learn: a guided tour, levels with milestones and notices about new features.

This article is for any user: the owner who wants to know what’s new, and anyone who prefers not to see pop-ups when they log in.

The What's new screen

Open it with What's new, at the bottom of the side menu. At the top you will see how many updates have been published and the date of the last update; below, the list grouped by date, with the most recent one marked as Latest.

Sending a suggestion

1

Open the suggestion box

In What's new, click Send a suggestion.

2

Write what you need

Explain it with an example from your day-to-day work, such as “being able to duplicate yesterday’s production order”. Keep it short: if it is very long, Recipok will ask you to shorten it.

3

Send it

Click Send suggestion. You will see “Thanks, we have received your suggestion.”

What’s new pop-ups

When we publish something important, a pop-up labelled What's new may appear when you log in to Recipok, with the See what's new button. If you prefer not to see them:

  • Click Don't show these pop-ups inside the pop-up itself, or
  • in Edit profile › Preferences, tick Do not show pop-ups for new features and save.

You can still look at everything whenever you like from the What's new section.

Levels, milestones and rewards

Your business moves up through four levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, as it completes milestones: creating your first recipe, completing your contact details, classifying the allergens of an ingredient, setting up a real fixed cost, printing a packaging label, recording a real HACCP check… It is included in every plan.

  • The level badge in the top bar tells you how many milestones you have left to reach the next one. Click See my full progress →.
  • In Your progress in Recipok you see all the milestones, the completed ones with their date and the You are here marker. Next to each pending milestone, Guide me takes you to the screen and shows you how to do it.
  • Each achievement is announced with a notification. On the Free and Essential plans, reaching Silver and Gold gives you extra recipes.

Guided tour and implementation guide

  • Guided tour: user menu › Guided tour. A walk through the main screens.
  • Implementation guide: in the side menu, with the Written guide and the Video tutorial. It explains how to get Recipok up and running step by step; start with the loading order.
