How to sign up, complete the welcome wizard, what you find when you log in and how to work with several businesses from the same user.
What it is for
Creating your account takes a couple of minutes and is free: no card needed. As soon as you sign up, a welcome wizard asks for the bare minimum (your business name, sector and country) and takes you to create your first recipe.
This article is for anyone opening Recipok for the first time: signing up, the wizard, what you find inside and how to work with several businesses from the same user.
Before you start
- An email address you can access: you will receive a link to confirm the account.
- A password of at least 8 characters. You can also sign up with your Google account.
- Your basic business details: trading name, sector, phone number and country.
Signing up
Open the sign-up form
On the login screen, click Sign up for free. You will see the Your private and free account form.
Enter your details
Username, Email and Password, then click Start now. Or use Register with Google.
Confirm your email
You will receive an email with a confirmation link. Open it when you can: in the meantime you can carry on with the wizard.
The welcome wizard
The first time you log in, Welcome to Recipok! appears with four steps. Only the second one is compulsory.
- 1Trading name: the one your customers will see on labels and documents. You can change it later in Configuration.
- 2Country: sets the currency, the recommended units and the sample ingredients the account starts with.

When you finish, Recipok suggests Create my first recipe from a photo, a PDF, a sample recipe or by hand. It also reminds you about the support chat and offers Book a free session with a technician. Depending on your answers, it may recommend a plan; if you prefer, you stay on the free plan.
The recipes you created during the trial are saved in your new account. You will find them in Recipes and formulas.
What you find inside
- Free plan: the account starts on the free plan. You can change plan whenever you like from Subscription.
- Sample ingredients for your country, to practise with. Before loading your own, delete them: My ingredients › actions menu › Delete all unused.
- You are the owner and administrator: you see everything and manage the team, the extensions and security.

Choosing an account and working with several businesses
The same user can belong to several businesses: yours, a second shop with another legal name, or a client’s if you are an adviser. Each business has its own ingredients, recipes, team and plan.
- If you belong to more than one, when you log in you will see Select an account: choose the business you want to work with.
- To switch without logging out, open My accounts in the top bar and click the other business.
- To create another business, click Add new account in that same menu and fill in its details.
Don’t share your user with employees or with your implementation consultant. Give them their own from Users: that way each person has only the permissions they need and there is a record of who did what.
