Connect Recipok to Holded
All plans
What is synchronised between Recipok and Holded (customers, suppliers, orders, products, goods-in and dispatches) and how to set up the connection.
What it is for
If you do your invoicing and accounts with Holded, connecting it to Recipok saves you typing in twice what happens in the bakery. Every dispatch you deliver to a customer reaches Holded as a delivery note or an order, every purchase as a purchase delivery note or order, and customers, suppliers and sales orders stay the same in both programs.
The manager or the administrator sets it up once. After that it works by itself: the team works in Recipok as usual and the office invoices in Holded with the data already loaded.
Before you start
- You need a Holded account and access to its API Key (you will find it in the API section of your Holded account).
- Log in to Recipok with a manager or administrator user.
- Check that your customers and suppliers have the correct tax ID and that your recipes have a SKU: that is what matches the same data in both programs.
Setting up the connection
In your account menu, at the top right, go to Integrations and open the Holded tab.

What travels and when
| Data | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|
| Dispatches (deliveries to customers) | Recipok → Holded | When the dispatch is saved in Recipok: it is created as a sales delivery note or sales order, with the lot, the price and, if the customer has it, the equivalence surcharge (recargo de equivalencia). |
| Goods-in | Recipok → Holded | When changes to the goods-in are saved, or manually with Send to Holded from the goods-in list. See in Holded then appears. |
| Returns to supplier | Recipok → Holded | With Send to Holded in the returns list. |
| Customers | Both directions | When a customer is created or edited in Recipok; and every hour, new ones from Holded if you ticked Customers. |
| Suppliers | Holded → Recipok | Every hour, if you ticked Suppliers. |
| Sales orders | Holded → Recipok | Every hour, if you ticked Sales orders. They arrive in Orders ready to produce. |
| Recipes and ingredients (as products) | Recipok → Holded | With Synchronize with Holded: in Recipes and formulas (selecting recipes), in the recipe editor and in the ingredients list. The name, price before VAT, VAT, SKU and weight are sent. |
Deletions travel too: if you delete in Recipok a customer, a recipe or an ingredient that was synchronised, it is deleted in Holded. Before deleting, make sure you don’t need it in Holded.
Tips and common errors
- A customer is duplicated in Holded: almost always the tax ID or the email don’t match. Correct it and enter their Holded ID in the customer record in Recipok.
- A goods-in doesn’t appear in Holded: find it in Goods received and use Send to Holded. If the API Key has expired or been changed in Holded, paste the new one and save.
- Always invoice in Holded from the delivery note created by Recipok; if you type it again by hand, you will have two.
- If you use other invoicing software, we can connect that too: Connect Recipok to your invoicing, accounting or POS. Dispatches and their delivery notes are explained in Dispatches and delivery notes.
